championship rodeo

Mesquite championship rodeo

If you're from Mesquite, Texas, chances are you've been to the Rodeo. In fact, Mesquite is the official Rodeo Capital of Texas. It's been a part of this city since 1958. Since they've been open over 60 years, many people that came here when they were little kids are now parents and grandparents themselves. Every elementary student in Mesquite ISD gets to attend a special rodeo each year to learn about our city's tradition and heritage.

See what Good Morning America had to say about the Rodeo!
