"THE BEST CITIZENS ARE THE ONES THAT KNOW THEIR HERITAGE."

The purpose of this project is to share and connect our community's past to the present through the lens of 360° images and video.

We know our kids haven’t been to Mt. Everest or the Taj Mahal, but some of them haven’t even seen the other side of our hometown. Making learning relevant starts at home, so it is our job to build context for our students.
If our students (all community members really) can learn about our city's past it will help put the present in context.

This project also hopes to increase citizen awareness and inspire involvement in the community. Our current students are the future leaders of Mesquite. They have the right and responsibility to be informed, participate and care for others in this community.
